Pastor Abieso W. Gono

A married man with a family size of ten. He is planting the second church in Ganta, a provincial city of over 45, 000 residents some 260 miles way from Monrovia. He has also been involved in co-planting another church. He is talented and full of wisdom, a gifted entrepreneurial thinker, a self starter, a gifted musician, a trained teacher, a social worker and a practicing journalist. He is teaming up with seven persons including his wife to provide support in the new church plant efforts

Ganta is a very large commercial district in terms of entrepreneurs next in line to Monrovia in the Republic of Liberia. It is a city being contested for by Islam due to its proximity to the Guinean and Ivory Coast borders respectively. It has become a fast growing city and the opportunity to start healthy, holistic and reproducible churches in such a crowded city cannot be overemphasized as the need for lost souls always exists in such places.

Prayer Points:

1. Good health, passion for God and compassion for humanity
2. Bibles(English, Dan and Mano dialect), gospel tracts
3. One acre of land on which to erect a church, school and other facilities to help sustain the mission efforts of the ministry.
4. Reopening of an elementary school in a building which he leased and once ran a school he began with 45 students and increased to 345 students, but was shot down due to propaganda.
5. A means of empowerment and sustainability of his family.
